The firm has various niche sectors in which it is particularly strong; these include agricultural businesses, care homes, the food and drink sector and the road transport sector.
Ashtons has been recognised by the Legal 500 and Chambers UK Guide to the Legal Profession for over 20 years. In 2018 the firm had 22 ‘leading individuals’ listed by the Legal 500. L500 has quoted sources saying Ashtons ‘provides a better service than most larger national firms and is a delight to work with’.
Having historically been based in the centre of Bury, in Guildhall Street, we moved in 2018 to new premises at Fornham Business Court where we have plenty of parking and easy access to the A14. However, as corporate members of the Bury St Edmunds & Farmers Club we do also use the meeting rooms there if we need to see clients who don’t have transport and find it difficult to visit us in our new location.
