A Burns supper is much more than a commemoration of the life of Scotland’s greatest poet.

It is, above all else, about FUN: food, drink, good company and ‘entertainments’ reminding us – often with great humour – that life hasn’t changed very much in the last 260 years. Love, sex, poverty, loss of identity and hypocrisy were as common then as now.

Dress is smart casual. Tartan is optional but would be a nice touch – go as fancy as you like! There will be prizes for the best dressed gentleman and the best dressed lady.

Dining will be on one large Club table, sitting down at 7pm, although you are welcome to arrive any time from 5.30pm to join us for Happy Hour.

Booking is essential.
